Submission Guidelines: Photograph Competition 2024

<aside> 📷 We invite submissions for photographs relating to the theme ‘Travel’. ****

</aside>

• The Photo Competition is open to all photographers of all ages
• All submissions should be be submitted via the Abstract Submission Form. Hard copies cannot be accepted
• Photographs must not have been previously published and must be taken within 24 months of the closing date for submission - 1st November 2024

Submission Form

• You may enter a maximum of two photographs (black and white and colour)
• Your initial submission format cannot exceed 10mb, the size limit of our portal.
• Shortlisted entrants will be required to provide a higher quality image for final judging.
• You must include a title and caption of your photograph not exceeding 100 words
• Abstracts are to be submitted as text only.
• No more than a maximum of six authors should be listed.
• The abstract will be judged anonymously therefore, the body of the abstract should not contain information that can identify the authors or institution

Judging

• Each theme will be judged by a panel of judges.

Governance

• Photographers must seek the permission of people featured in the photograph (or the permission of guardians for photographs of minors) or events/properties before submitting your entry in order to ensure GDPR compliance. By submitting the EKSC will assume this permission is in place
• By submitting images the photographer grants EKSC licence to use the photograph in publicity for the Conference
